Seedance 2.0 AI Video Generator
Turn a prompt into a video with sound, or bring a still image to life. Choose a Seedance model, set the length, ratio and resolution, and see the price before you start.
417 credits are held when the video starts. You pay MaxAPI's per-token price for what the video actually uses, and the rest comes back when it finishes.
Seedance 2.0 pricing

What is Seedance 2.0 R2V?
R2V means reference to video. In this Seedance 2.0 mode you give the model reference images, videos and audio, such as a character, an outfit, a product, a camera move to copy or a soundtrack, and a prompt that says how to combine them; the model keeps those details steady across the clip.
On GPT Image Hub, choose Multi-reference. Seedance 2.0 Mini, Fast and 2.0 take up to 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio files (12 in all); Seedance 2.5 takes up to 30 images, 10 videos and 10 audio files. Name each one in the prompt by its tag, such as "@image1 wears the jacket from @image2 and dances like @video1, to @audio1". At least one image or video is needed, and a reference video is billed by its length too.
To start from one exact picture, use Image to video (one first frame) or First & last frame (Seedance 2.0 models) instead. For a first frame, write only what should move or change, such as weather, light or a person walking in; the image already shows the rest. The example below started from a still of a coffee shop.

- Is Seedance 2.0 free?
- No. Seedance 2.0 is a paid model and every video uses credits. New accounts get 25 free credits on sign-up, which is enough for a few images but not a video: the cheapest clip, Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p for 4 seconds, costs 137 credits.
- How much does Seedance 2.0 cost?
- Seedance 2.0 starts at 273 credits for a 4-second 480p clip. A 5-second clip is about 757 credits at 720p and about 1873 at 1080p. You see the estimate before you start and pay for what the finished video actually uses.
- What is Seedance 2.0 R2V?
- R2V (reference to video) is the Seedance mode that builds a clip from reference images, videos and audio plus a prompt that cites them as @image1, @video1 and @audio1. On GPT Image Hub it is the Multi-reference option: up to 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio files on Seedance 2.0 models, and up to 30, 10 and 10 on Seedance 2.5.
- Can I try Seedance without credits?
- You can watch the example clips and copy any prompt without an account, but generating a video always needs credits. There is no free video; the cheapest one is 137 credits.
- How much does a video cost?
- Videos are priced like MaxAPI: by the tokens the finished video uses, which depend on the model, resolution and length. You see an estimate before you start; we hold 10% more and return the unused part when the video is done. A 5-second 720p video is about 380 credits on Seedance 2.0 Mini and about 760 on Seedance 2.0. Failed videos are refunded in full.
- Which Seedance model should I choose?
- Start with Mini for drafts and testing prompts, Fast for quick 720p clips, Seedance 2.0 for the best detail and 1080p or 4K, and Seedance 2.5 for longer shots of up to 30 seconds. All four generate sound with the video.
- Can I animate my own image?
- Yes. Add a first frame and the video starts from that image; on Seedance 2.0 models you can add a last frame too. Or choose Multi-reference to use several images, videos and audio files as references the prompt cites as @image1, @video1 and @audio1.
- How long does it take?
- Usually one to three minutes, longer for 1080p, 4K or long clips. You can leave the page; finished videos are saved to your account.
