Rim-Lit Monochrome Male Profile Portrait

A dramatic high-contrast monochrome studio portrait of a [young man with dark messy hair and a well groomed beard], captured in a close-up vertical profile composition against a completely pitch-black background. The subject is posed in a strong side profile, body turned away while his head turns slightly over his shoulder toward the right, showing a calm, serious, and contemplative expression. He wears [translucent acetate-framed sunglasses] with subtle reflections, and a [fitted matte black t-shirt] that blends cleanly into the dark background. Lighting and Atmosphere: Intense back rim-lighting from behind and slightly above creates a brilliant glowing contour along the hair, ear, beard, nose bridge, shoulder, and neckline. The rest of the face remains in deep shadow, crafting a striking chiaroscuro effect. Faint illuminated dust particles float softly in the air around the rim-lit edges. Camera and Style: Shot with an 85mm prime portrait lens at eye level with a shallow depth of field, keeping facial hair texture and glasses crisp while softening toward the edges. Rich monochrome tones with deep blacks, stark white highlights, fine skin texture, and smooth grayscale transitions. Editorial luxury fashion photography aesthetic.
