Retro Indie Tokusatsu Team Illustration

A hand-inked underground comic illustration and team portrait of [five] armored, helmeted heroes arranged in a tight symmetrical group, all facing forward with stoic postures and glossy black visors. A white-and-gold leader stands dominant in the center foreground, flanked by black-and-gold and pink-armored figures, with red-and-gold and teal-armored figures standing behind them. Their helmets feature ornate [animal-inspired crests], metallic gold trim, sculpted mouth guards, engraved armor plates, and retro sci-fi detailing. Behind them, a huge flat red sun-disc fills the background with sharp white eye-like shapes, set against a faded turquoise field. Centered heroic full-page composition with halftone print texture, [thick black contour lines, scratchy crosshatching, hand-colored marker and colored-pencil texture], saturated costume colors, and a 1990s indie graphic novel, punk-zine aesthetic.
