A single wide storyboard sheet for a [15-second Japanese 2D anime cooking short about nikujaga], showing a complete cooking sequence in clean monochrome pencil line art.

Canvas & Layout: Extra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio storyboard sheet on a clean white background with a thin black outer border. Arranged in an exact grid of 12 rectangular panels (4 columns × 3 rows) with narrow white gutters and thin black panel borders. No text, captions, speech bubbles, or panel numbers.

Style: Japanese 2D animation production storyboard rough, detailed culinary illustration, expressive graphite pencil hatching, visible construction lines, dynamic motion lines, realistic cookware perspective, macro close-up framing. Strictly monochrome black-and-white with subtle gray graphite shading.

12 Storyboard Panels (left to right, top to bottom):
1. Close-up of a potato being sliced on a cutting board, one hand holding it, chef's knife slicing down, peeled chunks nearby.
2. Close-up of a carrot chopped into thick wedges and rounds, knife mid-cut, vegetable pieces scattered on the board.
3. Close-up of onion halves and wedges on a cutting board with distinct layers, knife entering frame.
4. Top-down view into a pot where thin beef slices are stir-fried with cooking chopsticks, oil lightly sizzling.
5. Pot close-up packed with meat, potato chunks, carrots, and onions being tossed with chopsticks.
6. Savory cooking liquid poured smoothly from a small pitcher over the ingredients, highlighting the stream.
7. A round wooden drop-lid (otoshibuta) placed over simmering ingredients, adjusted with chopsticks.
8. Simmering pot with the drop-lid partially lifted, rising steam revealing bubbling broth beneath.
9. Ladle stirring the rich stew, steam rising around glossy sauce-coated meat and vegetables.
10. Ladle dishing chunky nikujaga from pot into a ceramic serving bowl.
11. Rich broth drizzled over the plated nikujaga in the bowl, glistening highlights and steam.
12. Low-angle hero shot of the completed bowl of nikujaga featuring [potatoes, onions, carrots, thinly sliced beef, soy-based simmering broth].

Constraints: One cohesive production storyboard sheet with exactly 12 panels, maintaining an authentic hand-drawn anime pre-production aesthetic.
