Krieger auf Pferd in Tuschemalerei

A vertical Chinese ink wash painting in monochrome black, charcoal, and soft gray on textured off-white rice paper, in the style of expressive shan shui brushwork and heroic wuxia illustration. On the right, a lone armored general sits upright on a muscular, glossy black warhorse atop a rocky cliff edge, viewed from a rear three-quarter profile looking out over a vast battlefield below. The general wears layered black lamellar armor, a flowing windblown cloak, and a traditional topknot with trailing ribbons, holding a straight jian sword angled downward. Across the lower half, misty silhouettes of a dense army emerge through thick fog with raised spears and battle flags. In the upper right distance, steep craggy mountain peaks pierce through drifting mist, with seven small birds flying across the pale sky. On the left side, two vertical columns of bold black Chinese calligraphy in wild cursive script read: “[一身转战三千里，一剑曾当百万师]”, with a smaller vertical signature reading “[王维]” below, accompanied by a small vermilion red seal stamp. Features strong negative space, textured ink wash bleeding, dry brush splatter edges, and an epic, contemplative martial atmosphere.
