Chinesische Tuschmalerei mit Kalligraphie

A vertical traditional Chinese ink-wash painting on aged off-white rice paper, featuring a minimalist monochrome palette with soft gray washes and deep black brushwork. The composition combines large expressive Chinese calligraphy on the left and center with a misty shanshui landscape on the right. - Calligraphy: Bold hand-brushed Chinese characters reading [“照人如照水，切玉如切泥。”] arranged in two vertical columns (four characters on the left, four characters plus punctuation on the center-right), rendered with dynamic wet-and-dry brush variations, flying white strokes, tapering lines, and ink splatters. Two traditional vermilion red seal stamps appear: a small oval seal at the upper left beside the text, and a square seal near the lower left corner. - Landscape: The right side depicts towering craggy cliffs with gnarled sparse pine trees, drifting mountain fog, and two slender waterfalls feeding into a serene river with tranquil reflections and distant low islets. - Figures: In the lower right foreground, two ancient Chinese scholars in flowing hanfu robes and topknots sit across a flat stone slab on river rocks, [leaning over a board game in quiet conversation], depicted small in scale against the grand nature. - Style & Mood: Song-dynasty literati painting aesthetic, atmospheric layered mist, poetic solitude, contemplative and scholarly ambiance.
