Desktop UI Futurista Y2K L'Urlo

A surreal Y2K-futurist Windows XP desktop screenshot remix of [Edvard Munch’s The Scream], designed with a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1024×768 retro computer aesthetic. The background wallpaper features a neon harbor scene inspired by the painting: a wet, mirror-reflective bridge walkway extending from lower left to center lined with purple neon light strips, two dark human silhouettes in the background, and a futuristic skyscraper skyline across the water. The sky is an expressionist vortex of luminous purple, magenta, orange, and electric blue strokes. In the foreground stands the screaming figure in a glossy black chrome robe with hands raised to its head, its face completely obscured by a flat, muted mauve-gray rectangular censor block. Floating over the wallpaper is a translucent purple Windows XP desktop user interface glowing with CRT bloom, scanlines, and beveled glass borders. Desktop shell: - Far left column of exactly 8 chunky glass-orb icons with white lowercase pixel text: "my computer", "internet", "e-mail", "msn", "music", "pictures", "settings", "help", with a "trash" icon near the bottom. - Translucent purple taskbar along the bottom edge with a rounded Windows logo button labeled "[start]" on the left, and a system tray on the right displaying "[11:11 PM]". Exactly 4 open floating application windows: 1. Upper left: Paint window titled "untitled - Paint" with menu bar "File Edit View Image Options Help", a mini canvas showing the neon skyline, and a purple/pink/blue color swatch bar. 2. Upper right: Media player titled "now playing" with square neon grid album art, displaying "scream.wav", "the angst mixtape", "track 03", an audio waveform, time "01:42 / 03:24", and playback buttons. 3. Middle right: Window titled "system.exe" displaying lines: "THE SCREAM.EXE", "artist: edvard munch", "year: 1893", "remixed in: 3000", "resolution: 1024x1280", "color mode: neon rgb", "size: 1.42 mb", "status: existential", alongside a glowing purple wireframe skull and a segmented loading bar. 4. Lower right: Notepad window titled "untitled - notepad" with text: "nothing is real\nbut the signal\nand the scream\n\n-//user". Style: [Y2K futurism, cyberpunk vaporwave, translucent Windows XP interface, neon expressionist oil-paint texture]. Sharp, legible UI typography blended with nostalgic early-internet aesthetics.
