Dolenti gotiche velate sulla scalinata della cattedrale

A [high-contrast black-and-white 35mm documentary photograph] of [three] women dressed in [Victorian gothic black pleated gowns] ascending the broad stone steps of [old cathedral steps]. The atmosphere is [solemn and mysterious]. All figures wear full-length black mourning dresses with pleated skirts, fitted waists, long black gloves, and sheer black veils covering their heads and faces. The center woman is closest to the camera, turned partly back over her shoulder so one eye and facial features are faintly visible through her sheer veil. The woman on the left stands slightly behind, her face obscured by deep shadow. The woman on the right climbs farther ahead, walking away with her long pleated skirt trailing. The background features monumental pale stone columns, weathered masonry, and carved architectural details across a wide stairway. Harsh natural daylight, dramatic chiaroscuro contrast, realistic lace and gauze transparency, cinematic horizontal framing. No text, no modern elements, no extra people.
