Diario Escolar Japonés Maldito

A page of an eerie Japanese picture diary (enikki) from the late Showa to early Heisei era, featuring the character from the reference photo drawn as a child's doodle. The composition features a child-like crayon drawing in the top half and vertical diary lines in the bottom half. The aged paper is yellowed, creased, smudged with finger marks, faint eraser rubs, pencil smears, and water spots, captured from a slightly tilted smartphone angle with subtle overhead shadows and surface wear. Upper Drawing Section: The reference character is crudely drawn by an elementary school child using crayons and colored pencils, with wobbly hand-drawn lines, uneven coloring, and distorted outlines, yet retaining core signature traits such as hairstyle, eyes, ears, clothing, and palette. The horror is psychological and understated: the character wears a cheerful smile while the eyes are pitch-black voids, the head is subtly disproportionate, their shadow does not match a human silhouette, they stare outside the page boundaries, only the red color is unnervingly saturated, and an ambiguous dark lump lurks in the background. Lower Diary Section: Messy, authentic vertical Japanese child's handwriting in pencil, featuring faint erasures, smudges, and broken strokes, starting normally and turning subtle and unsettling (e.g., recounting meeting someone who inexplicably knew forbidden things). On the right, pre-printed ruled entry boxes for Date: [May Xth] and Weather, alongside an illegible, heavily smudged Name field. Ruled printing is slightly misaligned, matching vintage mimeographed school handouts. No nonsensical English letters or garbled digital text.
