```text
A dramatic vintage sci-fi anime poster in the style of a gritty 1990s mecha theatrical one-sheet key visual. In the foreground, three teenage pilots stand back-to-back: in the center, a slim teenage boy in a dark navy and black plugsuit with white shoulder accents and a glowing red circular chest core looks forward with a serious expression; on the left, a pale teenage girl with short icy-blue bobbed hair in a white bodysuit stands in profile; on the right, a teenage girl with long flowing auburn hair in a vivid red plugsuit looks outward with intense determination. Looming symmetrically behind them, a colossal purple biomechanical robot head dominates the frame, featuring a single horn, glowing orange eyes, angular armor plating, and massive shoulder pylons rising like black wings. Behind the mecha head is deep outer space featuring a massive cratered moon and a smaller distant planet to the right. The base of the composition depicts a ruined futuristic city with shattered skyscrapers, smoke, rubble, floating sparks, and two tiny silhouetted figures running forward between arcing pink energy beams. Palette of dark indigo, pitch black, deep purple, rust red, and ash gray with heavy film grain, distressed ink textures, scratched paper wear, and screen-printed halftone grit. Edge layout contains dense typography: large vertical English title on the left reading "NEON GENESIS EVANGELION", smaller vertical red text "HIRANO OF EVANGELION", red NERV emblem with "NERV" near the lower-left, a boxed label reading "TOKYO-3" and "JAPAN", a red upper-right warning box reading "ANGEL ATTACK" with Japanese subtitles, and vertical Japanese slogan text along the outer borders.
